I found this tutorial for a pin cushion jar online and decided that I wanted to make one of my pattern weights into one of them. It's a small project. Short and sweet. :) Oh yeah, and NO SEWING. The hot glue gun works the magic to bind it all together.
I'm going to see if I have enough energy to sew new darts into my blouse tonight. If I don't, I will try to get to it this weekend. Reading my Threads magazine that came today might be all the energy that I have. Nevertheless, I will post the "dart-work" immediately after! :)

Very cute! You make such cute things. :) I've been thinking that my little corner of the spare bedroom room is too small for my sewing space, and I don't get to have all the cute deocorations and accessories lik you do. I might move my space into the basement.
Enjoy your day. I checked my library's site and they have Threads - I'll have to check one out.
Making a space in the basement would be so fun! You could hang a peg board at the front of your sewing station! :) Then everything would be set up for easy access. I got many ideas from Google searching "sewing room".
My sewing room, and I just measured it to tell you!, is a little over 7 1/2' by 12 1/2'. My space is SUPER tiny. I'm always moving stuff around to try and make it user friendly. It has two doorways and a closet that limits a few feet of that floor and wall space that I could have.
We live in a starter house, if you remember me mentioning that before, and there wasn't a dining room built into it. I use the space that most families would make into a dining room for my sewing room. Haha... Sewing is MORE IMPORTANT! LOL
I basically have a corner of a room right now and have to get on the floor or set up a table to work w/ fabric. My fabric is stored in the basement. Yup, need more room. I'm taking time off next week and I'll clean up the space and move my stuff downstairs.
BTW, here's a link to the grocery bag holder I'm making:

Oooh, I thought you were making a tote. Although, I remember us talking about the plastic bag carrier. It didn't register in my mind correctly. Sorry about that.
That blog is SO CUTE! "Make it and Love it". It's late right now, but I plan to browse through her tutorials and sewing tips. :) Thanks for leaving me the link!
